Movie
In 1995, Jimmy Bauer, a high school senior, spiraled after losing the class president race, eventually abandoning his dreams and settling into a stagnant life at his father Stan's (Tony Danza) struggling Texas memorabilia store. Decades later, as a 40-something underdog, Jimmy (Adam Saunders) is jolted by the sight of his old rival, Manish Singh (Rizwan Manji), campaigning for a second term as governor. Determined to reclaim his path, especially after Stan insists he move on, Jimmy returns to his old high school with help from his sister Shawna (Patty Guggenheim), now the principal, to earn his missing credits and win the long-delayed election. Navigating a world transformed by social media and shifting norms, he finds support in a young friend, Noa (Bex Taylor-Klaus), and a rekindled romance with Ama (Nathalie Kelley), learning that endings matter more than beginnings.
