In a saga of family and vengeance, Mangalasserry Neelakandan's (Mohanlal) son, Karthikeyan (Mohanlal), rises as a liquor baron, straining their bond due to Neelakandan's disapproval of his methods. Tensions escalate when Mundakkal Shekharan (Napoleon), recently released from prison for murdering a friend of Neelakandan, targets the Mangalasserry family by seizing their ancestral home, once collateral for Bhanumathi's (Revathi) treatment. After Bhanumathi's death, Karthikeyan seeks retribution. As he fights to reclaim his heritage, he kidnaps Shekharan's daughter Janaki (Vasundhara Das), leading to an unexpected romance.
