Radio Flyer

After his father runs out on them, eight year old Bobby's family moves to the small northern California town of Novato. Along the way Bobby's mom Mary, his brother Mikey and dog Shane pick up an abusive new stepfather. After establishing himself as "The King," the new stepfather divides up his time working, drinking and beating Bobby. Mikey decides that the only way for Bobby to escape "The King's" wrath is for them to convert their Radio Flyer wagon into an airplane.
