Queen of the Mob

Mobster Ma Webster dominates her criminal clan, orchestrating daring robberies with her sons Eddie, Charlie, and Tom, alongside reluctant gang member George Frost. On Christmas Eve, they rob Centre City bank, but Ma's law-student son Bert warns them to flee. Their crime spree yields $300,000 in ransom and more from heists, though they're tricked into marked bills after murdering a fellow crook, Pan. Federal agents Scott Langham and Ross Waring track them to a Southern town where Ma poses as a socialite. Evading capture, they hide in cheap hotels until tragedy strikes -- Charlie's death, Tom's arrest, and George's murder by Ma and Eddie. Despite a low profile, Eddie's mistakes lead to a fatal Christmas Eve confrontation with agents, ending in his death and Ma's arrest.
