Info
Aging police commander, Frank Walsh, (Paul Sorvino) is close to retirement ten years after losing his wife and daughter in a tragic car crash. Facing retirement means facing further emptiness until Frank suddenly learns that a troubled young woman, Judy, (Fiona Dourif) is his daughter from a past relationship. Judy ran away at sixteen to escape abuse from her stepfather, and since then her life has spiraled downward into heroin addiction, panhandling, and cynicism, especially toward men. She sees no hope for recovery, redemption or justice. Frank tries a risky method to help his new-found daughter get off heroin. That same night, his best friend, Charlie, a retired cop, is murdered and his money and gold are taken. Frank must now find the killer, search for the missing gold, help Judy survive her demons and allow himself a second chance to be a father. Yet, Judy's past comes back to haunt them and Precious Mettle takes us on a twist and turn discovery of murder, motives and greed.
