Pinjar: Beyond Boundaries...

The film looks at the traumatic fallout of the partition of India into two countries. Lajjo who is recently married to Ramchand is abducted by a Pakistani man, Rasheed. In Pakistan, Lajjo is to be the second wife of an abusive man. However. Encouraged by Ramchand, Lajjo's sister-in-law, Puro, sets out on a journey to look for Lajjo. Ironically, she is assisted by a now remorseful Rashid. Lajjo and Puro have to now escape back to India.
