A successful American cartoonist Jim (Robert Montgomery) lives and works in London. When Jim falls for a pretty young girl, he ruins his actor father's (Frank Morgan) plans to marry into a rich family. Later, he loses his job, develops a newspaper cartoon series lampooning the wealthy, and discovers the girl he loves is an aristocrat.
