Pal Joey

Sinatra seems at ease as the title character: a cocky nightclub singer continually on the make. It's as if the star understands what makes Joey tick. Two women vie for his attention. Kim Novak plays one, an innocent showgirl who doesn't care about his money. Rita Hayworth is her rival, a demanding society matron who fulfills Joey's dream by bankrolling his own club.
