Out of My Mind

Melody Brooks, a sixth grader with cerebral palsy, possesses a quick wit and a sharp mind. Despite being non-verbal and using a wheelchair, she initially does not receive the same opportunities as her classmates. However, when a young educator recognizes her potential, Melody begins to engage in mainstream education, demonstrating that the content of her thoughts is more significant than the manner in which she communicates.
