One Kine Day

Oahu, Hawaii. Over the mountains, hidden from the touristic beaches of Waikki, a local skater named Ralsto wakes up to find his 15 years old girlfriend Alea, puking and telling him she is pregnant. Scared of ending up like their parents they agree "getting da kine" is the best plan. Alea leaves to school and Ralsto embarks on his journey to raise the funds.

Ralsto's day goes from bad to worse when he gets fired from his job at the skate shop for his slacker mentality. Comforted by her friend Leilani, a manipulative teen mom, Alea tells Ralsto it must be a sign to keep the baby. Scared of becoming a father, Ralsto pleads for one more chance to raise the funds.

Ralsto's last chance lies in his best friend Nalu who takes him on a journey into the dark world of cockfights and drug deals that leaves him penniless at the hands of a man who calls himself Vegas Mike. With no money and no job Ralsto has to face Alea at the house party of the year.
