Teenager Ashley must leave town with her mother when two bullies' online scheme to slander Ashley spirals out of control. Unable to clear her name, Ashley and her mother are forced to move to a new community. Mother and daughter soon meet an unorthodox but highly effective history teacher who advocates facing the past as the key to shaping one's future.
