Murders in the Rue Morgue

A lunatic researcher injects a number of attractive women with a strange formula, hoping to transform one into a mate for his gorilla. The experiments backfire, however, when the gorilla instead falls for a beautiful medical student. This chiller is loosely inspired by the Edgar Allen Poe story.
