Lost Highway

A saxophonist (Bill Pullman) discovers a mysterious videotape left at his doorstep, showing him standing over the lifeless body of his wife (Patricia Arquette), though he has no memory of the incident. Accused and imprisoned for the crime, he experiences a severe headache and awakens the following day transformed into a young auto mechanic named Pete (Balthazar Getty). As reality begins to unravel, the boundaries of identity and truth blur into an increasingly bizarre sequence of events.
