The lives and misadventures of three single women in New York City. Aspiring actress Rachel and her roommate, Gail, welcome the arrival of their friend Tracy, also a wannabe actress. Together the trio navigates the notorious East Village, the tumultuous working world and the New York dating scene. But the party soon comes to a halt when they discover Gail's dark secret.
