Aspiring TV journalist Dexter Jackson (Terrence "T.C." Carson) heads down to a local crime scene to meet his industry idol. But in a bizarre turn of events, the reporter is killed, and Jackson suddenly finds himself asked to step into the slain man's live, on-camera shoes. Jackson becomes an unlikely star and the new darling of network executive Kate Penndragin (Blanche Baker). In order to achieve his dream of becoming an anchorman, however, Jackson must make some difficult decisions.
