Little, Big, and Far

Austrian astronomer Karl stands at a pivotal moment in both his personal and professional life. His relationship with his physicist wife grows increasingly strained, while his career is reshaped by pressing environmental crises. Haunted by reflections on science, fascism, and the future of his grandson, Karl's inner turmoil deepens. Following a conference in Greece, he chooses not to return home, instead seeking solace on a remote island where he hopes to find a sky dark enough to rediscover his connection to the stars. Left alone at the start of a secluded mountain trail, he begins his ascent, waiting for nightfall to envelop him.
