Le Sens de l'humour

Luke and Mark are two comedians who tour the small theaters in the province of Quebec. Every night, they make fun of someone from the audience, to the delight of spectators. In the small city of Anse-au-Pic, they humiliate Roger Gendron, a shy cook from the snack bar.

Very bad choice, because the cook is a crank.

The next morning, the two wake up in a cage, at the mercy of Roger Gendron who is determined to take revenge. In exchange for their release, they propose him to teach him the art of comedy, making him the star of Anse-au-Pic! Roger Gendron agrees. The two comedians don't realize the magnitude of the task ahead!
