Pascale, Raphaël and Céleste are 15 and 16 years old. They are normal teens: first crushes, first mourning, tense parental relations. But they are also in the middle of nowhere, attending a unique small high school in the Eastern Townships, La Maison Familiale Rurale, where they are taught the earthiest of skills. Set against a gorgeous natural backdrop, and shot with a camera soon forgotten by all present, Le plancher des vaches follows the lives of three private, endearing teens coping with their limits and learning to grasp the meaning of connection and how to live in tune with the land and animals.
