Seventeen-year-old Sergius, dismissed as a loser, finds strength in live action role-playing games with his friends, immersing themselves in epic battles and heroic quests. At school they conceal this passion to avoid bullying. Helena, a new arrival who shares his love for LARP and fantasy books, captivates him. Determined to win her heart even after she joins the popular crowd, Sergius confronts his family, his chief school adversary, and his own fears and insecurities.
