Seymour, a young American soldier posted in Kosovo, gets a three-day leave in Sofia. He and some other soldiers end up staying at the Rodina hotel, which is basically a 20-story state-run brothel. That's where he meets Ivana, a young Ukrainian sex worker. Seymour is determined to rescue her and take her away with him.
