    Margaret Elliot's popularity and fortune have faded yet she remains convinced she can revive her dimming career with one good picture. She says one good picture is all she needs. During a drunken drive through Beverly Hills an Oscar statuette rests on the dashboard of her car. A washed-up movie queen finds romance but still desires a comeback.
