L'Esquive

Follows kids -- many of North African descent -- through rants, fights, petty crimes, and hormone-fueled emotions as they rehearse Marivaux's 18th century play. The elaborate social rituals of the play are not so dissimilar from those of the students, as both characters and actors deal with issues of class, circumstance, and of course, romance.
