Info
In the spring of 1794, General Tadeusz Kosciuszko (Jacek Braciak) returns to Poland with plans to lead an uprising against Russian forces, accompanied by his loyal friend and former slave, Domingo (Jason Mitchell). As Kosciuszko prepares for rebellion, a young peasant named Ignac (Bartosz Bielenia), the illegitimate son of a nobleman, faces a personal struggle to claim his inheritance, fleeing from his half-brother after stealing his father's will. On the run, Ignac crosses paths with Domingo, and despite their differences, they form an unexpected bond. Together, they seek refuge at a manor where Kosciuszko is hiding. Initially distrustful, Kosciuszko soon realizes that Ignac's fate could play a pivotal role in the uprising. Ignac is forced to choose between securing his family legacy or joining the fight for Poland's freedom.
