The 24 hours of Le Mans is the greatest endurance motorsport event in the world. Fantelli Productions follows British privateer team Jota, taking an intimate look at the limits of human endurance and the level of engineering it takes to compete in the most challenging motor race in the world. Narrated by Sir Patrick Stewart, Journey to Le Mans brings to life the passion, hard work and dedication that drive this small team to compete on the world's stage against the biggest names in motorsport. The first time 44-year-old Simon Dolan sat in a racing seat, he vowed there and then that nothing would stop him from winning at Le Mans. Joining Dolan is young driver Harry Tincknell, dubbed the next big thing in motorsport, and protégé of world champion Allan McNish. Tincknell, under the watchful eye of his famous mentor, has the opportunity to prove himself as he takes the seat for Jota. Team manager Sam, and trainers Pete Webster and 'Mike the Bastard' all push the drivers and engineers past physical and mental exhaustion to be the best they can be -- fit enough to withstand the grueling, sleep depriving, life changing Le Mans. Journey to Le Mans follows this small British privateer team as they prepare themselves for the experience of a lifetime. Facing a mountain of challenges as they compete in the LMP2 class - when one small error can mean the difference between winning and losing - will they pull off the near impossible and take home the trophy?
