In the Flesh

Four years after the zombie onslaught, the government tries to reintegrate the former zombies into society, calling them sufferers of Partially Deceased Syndrome. Daily medication is needed to keep the zombies under control and regain some semblance of their former lives. But many of the living don't accept these former zombies and respond with hostility and fear. The story focuses on a young man and former zombie who gets a very mixed reception from his small rural village.
