From the bitter quest of a jealous Queen who forfeits the life of her husband in her quest to have a child of her own, but is ultimately undone by her selfish actions (to keep her child separate from his closest friend); to two naive, spinster sisters who provoke the passion of a King, but their quest for eternal youthfulness divides them; to a narcissistic King obsessed with a giant Flea leading to heartbreak for his headstrong young daughter (who has been betrothed to an Ogre)....
