Bart Millard (John Michael Finley), the lead singer of MercyMe, rides the wave of success following the hit song "I Can Only Imagine," with sold-out arenas and a passionate fan base. Beneath the surface of his thriving career, however, unresolved issues from his past strain the family he holds dear, particularly his delicate relationship with his son, Sam (Sammy Dell). The arrival of Tim Timmons (Milo Ventimiglia), a promising new band member, marks the start of their most significant tour yet. Through an unexpected friendship, Tim brings a fresh sense of gratitude to Bart's life, while carrying his own hidden struggles and secrets. This connection compels Bart to confront his past and work to mend his bonds with Sam and his wife, Shannon (Sophie Skelton), before the price of fame becomes too great.
