Hedonistic philosopher-cum-delinquent Antonin (Maxim Gaudette) always finds the right word to win himself both compliments and rebukes from his peers. He never misses a chance to exploit the goodness and patience of his wife, Églantine (Evelyne Rompré), and he is a constant source of disappointment to his sister, Solveig (Larissa Corriveau). Meanwhile, as he tries to avoid tax collector Rose (Kathleen Fortin), Antonin cannot get his desire for the beautiful Cassiopée (Eve Duranceau) out of his mind. Tormented, Antonin must now devise the right scheme and the right words to apologize to Aurore (Éléonore Loiselle), a victim of his petty thievery.
