Hovering Over the Water

Laura Rossellini, a widow from Rome, escapes to the sun-drenched Algarve coast for a summer getaway. While basking on the beach one day, she discovers Robert, a wounded man adrift on a rubber raft in the surf. Bringing him to her home, she tends to his injuries, and as he recovers, he begins to share his past with her. Their conversations deepen into a growing mutual attraction, but the tranquility is shattered when a group of armed men arrives, searching for Robert with urgent intent.
