Ginger Snaps

For Brigitte, a 15-year-old, late-blooming misfit, existence in the mind-numbing suburb of Bailey Downs is a spiritual black hole. Only Ginger - her saucy sister going on 16 - has the power to keep her from going crazy. That is, until the night of Ginger's first period. It's the night the two girls go out to do some serious mischief and Ginger is attacked by a viscious creature. Ginger gradually turns into a bloodthirsty werewolf, and begins pursuing her destructive forays into sex, violence and social aggression. Brigitte, meanwhile, tries to find a cure. As one murder follows another, however, Brigitte is ultimately forced to make a heartbreaking decision in order to save herself.
