Robert Francis Garrow was a notorious serial rapist and murderer who terrorized the North Country from 1960 to 1978. Born in Mineville, New York, in 1936, Robert endured a childhood filled with severe abuse, including beatings and sexual violence. As an adult, he became a sadomasochist and a serial killer, with the exact number of his victims still unknown. Known for his ability to charm his victims before brutally attacking them with a knife, Robert was both clever and manipulative. He managed to deceive the legal system, fake paralysis, escape from prison, and evade capture for over a decade.
