A gorgeous woman takes the rap for her boyfriends hit and run charge, and emerges from prison a harden criminal. She rises to the top of a ruthless crime syndicate run by crooked city officials, but a government agent (Alan Ladd) goes undercover to expose the corrupt politicians!
