Bran Marshall has fled a deeply troubled planet earth and traveled through an intergalactic portal called The Gate to find a new home on the planet Rhea. He quickly discovers he is not welcome on Rhea because the first settlers from earth established there have forbidden new refugees. Bran Marshall teams up with a woman born on Rhea to stop the killing of thousands of earth refugees in their spaceships. Marshall and the Rhean woman may be mankind's only hope for survival in this distant location lightyears from mankind's home planet.
