Inspired by real events, the film follows the tumultuous trail of Bruno Sulak, a true 20th-century Arsène Lupin. A flamboyant robber, loyal friend, and icon of freedom, Bruno Sulak left his mark on the history of crime with his non-violent heists of numerous jewelry stores. While being actively pursued by George Moréas, a nonconformist police commissioner as tough as he is perceptive, Sulak managed to escape from prison multiple times and reunite with his lover Annie, becoming the public enemy number one of the 1980s.
