    In the sun-drenched Florida Keys, disgruntled teen Sandy Ricks (Elijah Wood) arrives to spend the summer with his eccentric Uncle Porter (Paul Hogan) on Coral Key. There, he befriends a feisty orphaned dolphin named Flipper, and the pair dive into thrilling high-seas adventures. Together, they confront local villains polluting the waters, leading Sandy to a fresh outlook on life.
