In the heart of the Pennsylvania countryside, a group of college students embarks on a Halloween hayride, seeking thrills and adventure. Their journey takes a dark turn when they persuade the driver to veer off course toward a secluded farmhouse, intending to indulge in a night of drinking and reckless choices. Unbeknownst to them, their actions disturb a sinister force lurking beneath the earth. A local farmhand, working nearby, uncovers a strange wooden box buried in the soil, inadvertently releasing an ancient, bloodthirsty zombie with an insatiable hunger for flesh, setting the stage for a night of terror.
