Er shi yi hong se ming dan

In 1915 China, a clandestine and unfair treaty poised to bolster Japan's control over the nation nears signing, though not without resistance. External forces intervene to prevent the agreement from being finalized, prompting both the United States and a ragtag group of thieves and orphans, including Lau Sek-Ming and Alexander Lo Rei, to act under the directive of their foster father (Zhang Feng-Yi). Tasked with locating the treaty in Shanghai, the group grapples with sudden immersion into the treacherous world of high-stakes politics. As tensions rise, the unsettling realization of a traitor among them threatens to unravel their mission.
