    A Red Army sniper, Vassili Zaitsev (Jude Law) is shooting dozens of German soldiers. To stop him, Nazi send the sniper Major Koenig (Ed Harris) from Berlin to Stalingrad to find Zaitsev and kill him. Soon, Zaitsev and Koenig find themselves in a duel of snipers. Meanwhile, Zaitsev is competing for the love of the Russian-American female sniper, Tania Chernova (Rachel Weisz). His opponent is a party official (Joseph Fiennes).
