Émilienne et le temps qui passe

Retired after a long career as a flight attendant, Émilienne Belhumeur is fulfilling the dream she had while up in the sky: "Having chickens and coffee while leaning against a fence." For the last 20 years, she's been looking after the living with a constant sense of wonderment while patching up her house and barn that are slowly falling into disrepair. From time to time, her granddaughter Daphné drops by for a visit and a chat about the world around them. Through the seasons, Émilienne's small farm becomes an undeniably chosen setting that acts as a quiet retreat and allows her to resist the various influences of the outside world. As a keeper of forgotten knowledge, Émilienne introduces us to her time-based way of life that she might have to give up.
