In the middle of the Cold War, the Soviet Union captures the rumor that China is planning to assassinate the president of the United States in his visit to Mexico. A local politician commands Filiberto Garcia, a policeman with more of a hitman than a detective, to investigate the veracity of this rumors among his connections in Mexico City's Chinatown. He has to work with a FBI agent and another from the KGB, something he doesn't like at all, he would much rather flee to Acapulco with Martita, a Chinese girl that softens his hard heart.
