Dumb and Dumber

Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey) and Harry Dunne (Jeff Daniels), two dim-witted best friends, live in a chaotic apartment in Rhode Island, struggling to maintain steady jobs. Lloyd, a limo driver, becomes instantly smitten with a passenger, Mary Swanson (Lauren Holly), a wealthy woman he drives to the airport. After Mary leaves a briefcase behind, Lloyd, hoping to win her affection, sets out to return it. Unable to catch her flight, he teams up with Harry, who drives a dog-shaped van for his failing grooming business. Together, they journey to Aspen to find Mary, unaware that the briefcase contains ransom money for her kidnapped husband.
