Dovbush: Lord of Black Mountains

In the early 18th century, the harsh rule of the Polish nobility drives the Hutsuls into the Carpathian Mountains. Brothers Oleksa and Ivan Dovbush, branded as outlaws, turn into opryshoks. Seeking revenge for their parents' murder, they become adversaries: Oleksa desires wealth, while Ivan seeks justice. Oleksa leads a Hutsul rebellion against the nobility, who try relentlessly to eliminate him. However, Dovbush outwits them, giving rise to the legend of the Carpathian knight. This legend inspires generations fighting for their homeland's freedom, reflecting Oleksa Dovbush's strength, love, betrayal, and survival against death.
