When strange things start to happen in the town of Middlesburg, 13-year-old Frances McCausland looks like the culprit. Desperate to solve the mystery and clear her name, Frances reluctantly enlists the help of Larry Houdini, her little brother's imaginary friend. Larry must teach Frances to rely on her imagination to defeat the Boogeyman who framed her, and save the town.
