Docteur Jerry et Mister Love

Professor Julius F. Kelp (Jerry Lewis), an absent-minded chemistry instructor, constantly blows up his university lab, drawing administrative ire, while pining for student Stella (Stella Stevens). Humiliated by a bully, Kelp invents a potion for strength, transforming into suave nightclub singer Buddy Love. As Buddy, he captivates crowds at the Purple Pit with jazzy flair, woos Stella, and schools bartender (Buddy Lester) on drinks, but the elixir fades at awkward moments, reverting him to Kelp. At the student dance, Buddy morphs back onstage, prompting Kelp's plea for self-acceptance. Stella chooses him, and they plan a future together.
