Defying Destiny

At around age 14, Maria becomes pregnant, shattering her dreams of becoming a teacher and compelling her to work (as a domestic worker) to support her child. She relocates to Medellín in search of better prospects, where her relentless determination drives her to advocate for women's rights and pursue a more promising future.
