Dark Harvest

Every autumn in a small Midwestern town, a supernatural entity known as "Sawtooth Jack" emerges from the cornfields and approaches the town's church. Here, eager groups of young boys eagerly await their chance to confront this legendary nightmare in a yearly harvest ritual that is a matter of life and death. Richie Shepard lives in the shadow of his older brother, who won the coveted "October Prize" last year, securing his ticket out of town. In an effort to prove himself and follow in his brother's footsteps, Richie teams up with the restless dreamer Kelly Haines, who is determined to escape the confines of this stagnant town by any means necessary. Against both the established rules and the daunting odds, Richie and Kelly make the bold decision to track down the legendary nightmare, with the hopes of winning the Run and securing their freedom together.
