Four people are walking in the city. They don't know each other. One is Fanny who looks after the trees and who meets the three others: Joséphine, who is at the end of her life; Carole who is in the grip of melancholy; and the blind one, Jean-Luc, who will calm Fanny and renew her faith in beauty.
