Washington Senators' baseball fan comes into contact with Appleton, a devilish character who offers him the opportunity to become the team's star player in exchange for his soul. Joe agrees, building a clause in the contract to protect himself. But, Appleton will stop at nothing to get his hands on Joe's soul, starting by sending in a beautiful young seductress to charm the unsuspecting boy.
