    The story is set in the 1900's, a war is on, and times are tough for the children of Irongates Orphanage. As Christmas Eve approaches, the children are looking forward to their only gift ... a simple Orange.

    When Rose disobey's the rules and is punished by not being allowed to have an orange on Christmas Morning, the other orphans devise a plan to bring joy to Rose, by sharing what little they have.
