Cartouche

Fed up with the tyranny of Malichot, the underworld boss, a young, nimble thief named Dominique stands up to him. To save his skin, he enlists in the army under the alias Cartouche and befriends La Taupe and La Douceur. Military glory isn't their thing: after making off with the regiment's payroll, the trio deserts. Back at Malichot's lair, Dominique shares the loot with the thieves, who at once hail him as their leader.
